TEAM Kilbride are on a roll with some superb up and coming fighters from the past couple of thai kickboxing events.
Eight fighters from the club fought in the ring on these shows with just half of them making their debuts.
They have shown excellent skills from their hard training at Team Kilbride by coaches Karl Kilbride and Bekah Casey.
Three of the clubs senior fighters appeared on Russ Williams’ championship thai and kickboxing show at Liquid Nightclub in Wrexham, with two of the fights being ISKA North West title fights.
Liam Simon was first on and won his fight in spectacular fashion, winning by unanimous decision.
Stephen Allen won his fight by an incredible headkick KO in the second round and gained the ISKA Super-cruiserweight North West Title.
Liam Conwell unfortunately lost by a very close and controversial decision and went the distance of 5 x 2 minute rounds with a broken arm that was inflicted in the first round.
His fight was for the ISKA Light-middleweight North West Title.
Five more fighters appeared on the Fortitudo Thai Kickboxing show at the Civic Hall Suite in Huyton.
Ian Holt, Loui Holt and Luke Kelly all won their fights by decision and are all Team Kilbride’s junior fighters.
Jacob Smith won his first fight by a fifth round stoppage with his opponent refusing to come out for the fifth round.
John Thomas once again won his fight by a spectacular first round TKO within 30 seconds, earning him his victory.
Seven out of eight fighters won their fights and showed an excellent level of skill and performance and would like to thank the people that keep on attending these shows supporting our fighters.
Team Kilbride have also be opening up a gym of their own at unit 22, Price Street Business Center, Wirral, where anyone can be a part of the team.
