Caldy hoping for big thaw

LAST week Caldy were scheduled to host Harrogate at Paton Field but the game was cancelled because of the plummeting temperatures.

This weekend Caldy are looking forward to a game at Bradford and are keeping their fingers crossed that the weather is forgiving.

Matt Holt, the director of rugby said: “The lack of games has been unfortunate, but it’s given us time to work on a few things and the boys are raring for a game.”

On the up side, the few niggly injuries that were threatening performances have all had a good chance to heal and it will be a full strength team heading to Bradford this weekend.
