Cogito’s goals came from seven different players with Michael Childes putting in a MoM display for them.
Neston made hard work of it against a ten man Wirral Wanderers side for most of the game.The game went to extra time after finishing 2-2.
Neston had Robert Marrs (2) and Robbie Goodridge (1) goals to progress through,Wanderers goals coming from David Wimmer and Ashton Gibiliru.
Liam Ross slotted in two followed with solos for G.Howarth and M.Hardman as Upton FC disposed of Towers FC 4-2 to go into the pot for the next round.
Division Two
Sheridans were crowned second division champions with a 2-0 victory over Bebington Rovers.
Sheridans’ first came from veteran Carl Howell rolling back the years with a powerful strike on goal, Ian Thomas was also on song firing home for the league two winners.
