Oldershaw RFC ready for biggest match in 10 years against Hullensians in National Cup

OLDERSHAW Rugby Club host possibly their biggest game for more than 10 years this Saturday, when they entertain top of Yorkshire Division Three side Hullensians, kick-off at 2pm.

The clash represents the final 32 nationally of the National Cup competition and Oldershaw are the only side from the North West of England left in.

Oldershaw recently suffered their first reverse of the season but are looking forward with relish to this weekends game.

Skipper Adam Meyerhoff said: “Although the league is the most important competition for the club, the National Knockout comes a very close second.

“All the players have had this game at the back of their mind for a couple of weeks now, so everyone will be raring to go.”
