Wirral finish unbeaten

WIRRAL under-15s won 3-1 at Knowsley to ensure they finished the entire season unbeaten last Saturday.

They now face Liverpool in the final of the Merseyside League, which will be held at Prenton Park on Monday, May 19.

All supporters welcome, with Liverpool's coaching staff including former Tranmere manager Dave Watson and ex-Tranmere player Kenny Irons in what promises to be an intriguing final. Elsewhere, Wirral are playing Macclesfield Schoolboys at Macclesfield Town's home pitch this coming Friday in the Cheshire Cup Final (kick-off at 6.15pm).
