WORCESTER came away from Rivacre Park with all three points after producing three well taken goals in the first half.
It was the Motormen however who took an early lead when pacey striker Obi Onouro was put through one-on-one with Worcester keeper Tim Sandercombe and although his shot was saved, the ball fell kindly for Vauxhall captain Josh Wilson who side footed home from 18 yards out.
The lead lasted just four minutes however as ex-AFC Telford midfielder Kevin O’Connor had his initial shot saved by Scott Tynan but the rebound fell back at his feet and he made no mistake this time and buried home the rebound.
On 26 minutes Worcester took the lead following some poor defending. Andy Taylor played a short back pass to Tynan which forced the keeper to try and dribble his way out of trouble but Danny Glover took the ball off his feet and squared it for Mark Danks to side-foot home into an empty net.
It got worse for the Motormen on 34 minutes when Worcester hit a hopeful ball forward which found the unmarked Glover who had plenty of time to loft the ball over the onrushing Tynan to make it 3-1.
To their credit Vauxhalls came out for the second half looking like a different side as manager Carl Macauley made numerous changes to try and get his side back into the game.
On-loan Vauxhall striker Obi Onouro looked threatening throughout and earned his side a penalty on 71 minutes when he made a darting run towards goal and was hauled down by Sandercombe.
Brian Moogan made no mistake from the spot and buried the resulting penalty.

Meanwhile, manager Carl Macauley has bolstered his squad with the signing of experienced midfielder Neil Prince.
Prince started as a youth with Liverpool before moving into the reserves in 2001.
Following his release he has had spells at Torquay United, Southport, Leigh, Lancaster City, Stalybridge Celtic and Droylsden.
Macauley said: “I have known Princey for years and he is one of those players who, on his day, can single-handedly change a game with his creative ability. He is a flair player who always tends to do well when the ground becomes firm so has really good starts and finishes to the season.
“He hasn’t played all pre-season so fitness is an issue but in a couple of weeks I think the fans will start to see the best out of Neil.”
