A CRAIG Bennett goal earned The Primrose a 1-1 draw after extra time versus Woodchurch in the Wirral FA Premier Cup quarter final and he also scored in the penalty shoot out to give his side a 5-4 victory and a semi final slot against Queens Park.
An early Carl Murphy goal for Liscard Bronze set the scene for a great game Premier division against the Oyster Catcher who went in at half time 3-1 up. A swift fourth put Oyster 4-1 up, but two goals each from Scott Tebb and Kyle Birch eased Liscard back in front before a late goal earned Oyster a share of the spoils in a 5-5 draw. Scorers for Oyster were Mike New (2), Craig Griffiths, James Clare and Wesley Hines. A single goal was not enough for Cheshire Cheese as they went down 1-2 versus Big House whose marksmen were Danny McGill and Steve Hughes.

In the division One Cup semi-final The Saughall had to rely on two second half strikes by Andre Clarke to see off a plucky Townfield with a 2-0 result.
Dutchman Cup 3rd round action saw Leasowe Youth role over Stanleys Cask with a 6-1 result in which Paul Harding, Dan King, Lee Grimsley, Carl Navarro, Roy Thomas and John Davies netted. Danny Bird claimed the lone response. Nags Head got into the winning enclosure via a penalty shoot out which they won 5-4, after drawing 1-1 with Brighton Hotel after extra time, with Stuart Speed dedicating his goal to his newly born daughter.
The only division One fixture saw FC Victoria take the points with a 3-1 win over Upton FC (Craig Taffe) thanks to Danny Holdsworth bagging a fine hat-trick.
12th Man made a real game of it against division two leaders Grange FC by taking the lead through Ben McMahon, but Kieran Fleetwood equalised before Steve Tunstall grabbed the winner for Grange in 2-1 win. Mackenzies had Simon Parsonage, George Brooks and Paul Wallace all netting doubles as they overcame Phoenix 6-1, with Brian Parrington hitting the only reply. A goal apiece from Dan Sullivan, Matt Vickery and Gary Quillan earned Irby Athletic a 3-0 success over AFC Tima who remain rooted.
The top two in the Youth division fought out an entertaining 3-3 draw as Jack Rowlands, Mike Thomson and Dave Whittaker netted for Neston Youth and Phil Quillam (2) and Calum Freeman responded for Princes Villa. Oxton Villa (Andrew Gunne (2) and Chris Davenport) wasted 3-0 lead to lose to Upton Youth 4-3, who had Rob Manger (2), Tom Briggs and Ben Kierman on target in a great comeback. Goals from Dan Beaver, Nathan Quilty and Alex Vile gave New Brighton Youth a 3-1 win against Neston Nomads (Connor Robinson) and singles from Jake Smith, James Smith, Jordon Findley and John Lancaster provided Princes Youth with a 4-1 verdict over Irby Youth.
Youth division Cup 1st round action resulted in Northwood FC beating Cetco Europe 3-2 in a great game that saw Paul Caine (2) and James Gladstone net for the Wood and James Plant and Ashley Carey fired the replies. Despite goals from Jack McPaul and Matt Armstrong Chester Nomads were beaten 4-2 by Ellesmere Port.
