Parkview progressed through to the next round after a great win at home to Netherton. Dave King,Kyle Williams,Nick McCann and Jamie Payne all found the back of the net for Parkview.

Wirral Wanderers 2

Kings Athletic 0

Darren Corness and Danny Irwin were The Wanderers target men as they follow Parkview into the draw for the next round,in a well fought encounter against The Kings.

Man of the match Paul Lloyd slotted home a double,as did Robert Marrs as The Legion go into the hat for the next round.Andrew Ward was on song for Gaggs Hill.

Something had to give as the battle for top spot was there for the taking. James Atherton hit two screamers for Claughton to edge it in a well fought match against two evenly matched sides.Paul Devey responded for Woodchurch as did keeper Shaun Ashcroft putting in a m.o.m performance.

Matthew Easterbrooke, Alan Kearns,Dava Saunders all banged in singles as the home side took the points in this mid-table duel.

The Gun go joint top after an impressive win away from home. Jamie Edwards yet again on the score sheet after poaching a hatrick his first a real scorcher,Ricky Neill,Victor Fergill also in on the action.Moreton had Nathan Kee,Wayne Robinson,Mike White all slotting home singles.

The visitors snatched the points in an end to end open game of football,Gary Squibb and Carl Daley banging in doubles.Top scorer Danny Holdsworth also netted a double for Parkfield.

Ross Henderson, Leon Powell and usual suspect Dean Judge all bagged for Universal at home to Sheridans.Peter Navarro rounded off an impressive man of the match display with a well deserved hatrick backed up by the hard working Leroy Williamson with a brace as Sheridans came away with the points.

Only two games took place this week in division two due to cup ties being played.First up saw an entertaining six goal draw.Towers Luke Griffiths 1. Mike Williams 1. and John Walker all steering the ball home for the visitors.
