Ilkeston Town 4
Vauxhall Motors 0
DEFENSIVE errors and lack of goalscoring opportunities were the main factors in this heavy defeat for the Motormen.
The home side took the lead on 20 minutes when a stray Chris Lane pass fell kindly for Ilkeston winger Sam Duncum who outpaced Lee Dames and slid the ball past the on rushing Danzelle St Louis-Hamilton.
On 36 minutes it was 2-0 when left back Alex White hit a great 30 yarder which caught St Louis-Hamilton off his line.
Vauxhalls made numerous changes and substituions but to no avail. On 73 minutes the home side were awarded a penalty when St Louis-Hamilton conceded a penalty, Amari
Morgan-Smith tucked away the penalty.
Ilkeston got their fourth goal on 77 minutes when Sam Duncum rounded St Louis-Hamilton for his second goal of the game.

Vauxhall Motors 1
Blyth Spartans 1
EARLIER in the week, Motors had drawn with Blyth to ensure they had drawn six from their first nine games thanks to a well organised defence and great goalkeeping.
The home side took the lead after just four minutes when Lee Furlong ran at the Blyth defence on the right and whipped in a long cross to the far post, this was met by winger Chris Noone who gave the Blyth Keeper no chance with a fierce drive into the net.
Blyth hit back however when they were awarded a penalty on 23 minutes. Tom Hannigan was adjudged to have tripped Josh Gilles in the penalty box and striker Paul Brayson slotted home the penalty beyond St Louis-Hamilton.
The Motormen will feel unlucky not to have grabbed all 3 points in this games. The last half hour was continued pressure from the home side, Karl Noon cut inside from the left and forced a good save out of Blyth keeper Jack Norton. On 74 minutes Tom Hannigan rose highest from a Moogan corner but his effort was cleared off the line by a Blyth defender. Just a minute later Moogan could have won the game for the Motormen with a great 30 yard effort but was unlucky to see his shot go inches wide of the left hand post.
