WITH the new Blue Square North season only just around the corner, Vauxhall Motors have been putting some final touches to their pre-season plans both on and off the field.
First of all, they have tied up another season’s sponsorship with local dealership Lookers of Wirral.
This successful long-running partnership began in 2000 and so this new campaign kicking-off in just over a fortnight’s time will see celebrations to mark their 10th season as the club’s main sponsors.
Vauxhall Motors’ Football Club chairman, Alan Bartlam, commented “We are indebted to Lookers for their continued sponsorship, especially in the current financial climate.
“Fortunately, we do enjoy a fine relationship with Lookers and long may it continue.”
Meanwhile, the club has moved swiftly to bring in 19-year-old goalkeeper Danzelle St Louis Hamilton (pictured) on a loan agreement from Premier League Stoke City.
The keeper was out on loan to Bristol Rovers last season and stands some 6ft 4ins tall.
