VAUXHALL MOTORS looked comfortable throughout Saturday’s pre-season game although it was striker Ashley Ruane who gave Caernarfon a surprise lead 10 minutes into the second period.
The home side equalised on 67 minutes when new captain Chris Lane poked home from close range. Just three minutes later, winger Chris Noone put his team in front with a simple tap-in.
Michael Burke made it 3-1 after 72 minutes with a smart finish and midfielder Keith Smith grabbed another for Motors five minutes from time.
Caernarfon substitute Yannick N Gouana scored a late consolation for the Welshmen.
