Taylor deal breaks down

VAUXHALL Motors have been unable to agree a transfer deal with Chester City for the services of hot-shot Paul Taylor.

The striker will remain at Rivacre Park despite Chester offering £30,000 for Taylor last week.

Meanwhile, club manager Carl Macauley now has a clear idea of the opposition his Motors side will be facing from August, with the release of the UniBond Premier Division fixtures for 2008-09.

In addition to derbies with Cammell Laird, Marine and Prescot, Motors will also face Witton Albion, Nantwich Town and FC United of Manchester. They will also oppose Buxton and Ilkeston Town for the first time in their history.
