Kelma continue revival

KELMA'S Division One revival continued with an excellent 2-0 victory over second placed Moreton in the Birkenhead and Wirral Amateur Football League.

Mark Lawler and Kev Miller struck the all important goals, with both sides hitting the woodwork in the second half.

In a battle of mid-table teams, AC Brookley edged past Sports Bar 4-3. John Williams was the hero, firing a hat-trick, and was supported by a strike by Chris Sefton.

In Division Two, FC Village consolidated second place with a comfortable 4-0 win over Bebington Rovers.

Matthew Leeds struck two goals, while John Harrison and Ashley Oldham also got on the scoresheet.

Elsewhere, Bronze Social leapfrogged 10-man Trafalgar Rangers with a 3-0 triumph. Gary Sefton, Trevor Vaughan and Dave Ritson all registered for the Bronze.
