IN THE second round of the Regent Cup, Bird in Hand returned to winning ways with an impressive 7-1 victory over Parkfield BA.
Robbie Black led the way with a hat-trick, Paul Howell notched up two goals, while Chris Black and Gareth Griffiths, with another scorcher, also registered.
Elsewhere, AC Brookley edged past Avenue 3-2. Chris Sefton, John Williams and Steven Abbot were all on target for Brookley.
Future were indebted to Paul Devey, who scored all four goals in their 4-1 win over Wirral Wanderers to ensured their passage into the last eight. Peter Hardy fired a superb consolation goal for Wanderers.
Doubles from Mark Lawler and Simon Tierney saw Kelma through to the next round at the expense of Manor, while Sports Bar overcame Trafalgar Rangers 5-4 on penalties after the scores were level at 3-3 after 120 minutes.
Mark Lynch, Steven Aurin and Mikey Ronan netted for Sports Bar and scorers for Trafalgar were Ben Sherlock (2) and Paul Lloyd.
Universal Windows are also in the hat for the quarter-finals after a 5-3 win over Wellington FC. Ray Sherlock found the net on three occasions, while Dean Judge and a fine individual goal from Anthony Moore completed the scoresheet.
