IN THE first round of the Wirral Junior Cup, a goal each from Steven Tunstall and Stuart Williams helped AC Brookley to a 2-0 victory over Manor Athletic.
FC Borough hit three without reply against second division Benington Rovers to also progress into the next round of the Cup.
Lee Sample, Mike Kearney and Gary Potter, with a 25-yard strike, were on target for Borough.
But the performance of the day came from Central Park, who hit Rangers Breaks for six in an emphatic 6-1 win. Prolific Paul Gunderson fired a hat-trick and was supported by strikes from Craig Costello (2) and Alex Wilson.
Elsewhere, Mark Lawler was the star of the show as Kelma overcame Tower by five goals to two.
In other first round action, Wellington FC caused an upset, defeating Bebington Athletic 2-1, Parkfield BA beat Bronze Social 8-2, and in a tight, end-to-end game, Cammel Lairds Youth edged past Future 4-2.
Division One witnessed a staggering 15 goal thriller as Bird in Hand remained in top spot after accounting for Universal Windows by an outrageous 10-5 scoreline.
Robbie Black found the back of the net on four occasions, Mike McCann hit a hat-trick, new signing John Hamilton scored two goals and Paul Howell was also on target for the Bird.
Moreton's hero was John Cupit, who fired a last minute winner as they squeezed past Sports Bar 2-1.
In the day's only Division Two fixture, FC Village came from 2-0 down to snatch a point against Wirral Wanderers thanks to goals from Darren Eaton and man-of-the-match Kenny Murphy. Matthew McDaid and Chris Farrell had ealier put Wanderers 2-0 up.
