Christian heads State side

A WALLASEY amateur footballer has moved across the pond to take up his place on a soccer scholarship in Florida.

Christian Hall, who is a former pupil at St Mary’s College, has left the rain-blighted shores of Britain for the golden sands of Webber International University in the US on Bank Holiday Monday.

The 21-year-old will be studying for a degree in business and sports management, while also turning out for the university’s highly-rated soccer team.
