IN DIVISION One of the Wirral Amateur Football League, AC Brookley returned to winning ways with a 4-0 victory over 10 man FC Borough.
Universal Windows edged past Moreton by two goals to one. Dean Judge and Wesley Davies registered for Windows. Moreton pressed the action, but could only find a consolation through Mark Dooley.
Elsewhere, two goals from Philly Hughes, plus a strike from Mikey Jones, ensured that New Ferry edged past Parkfield BA 3-2.
Reigning champions Bird in Hand were made to work hard by Sports Bar but eventually came out 3-1 winners. Willows to recorded their second victory of the campaign with a 2-0 win over Manor Athletic.
In Division Two, Claughton Hotel head the pack after a majestic display saw them defeat Tower 9-0.
Avenue made it two wins out of two, recording a 2-1 triumph against plucky Wirral Wanderers.
Man-of-the-match Ray Upton and Shaun O’Quiqley netted for the Avenue.
Central Park picked up their first points of the season with a narrow 3-2 victory over resurgent Bebington Rovers.
Paul Gunderson (2) and Craig Costello were on target for Central Park, while Vinny Crewe scored with two free kicks for Rovers.
FC Village found their goalscoring form, finding the net six times against Bronze Social.
Darren Eaton netted twice whilst Steven Fowler scored his first for the club from the penalty spot.
Bronze did net a consolation through Dave Ritson. Trafalgar Rangers returned to winning ways with a 4-1 victory over Whellington FC.
Eddie Atkins hit another brace, Steve Jones scored a bullet header and Craig Pownall scored from the penalty spot.
