BIRKENHEAD St Mary’s lost by 25 runs in their Bromborough Paints Merseyside & Southport Alliance clash with Whitefield.

Rafa Afridi’s half century gave Whitefield a solid platform in their total of 195. Although Shakeel Nawaz struck 43 for Birkenhead, they were undone in their run chase by Amir Baig who snapped up 4-51.
