Irby make Sale pay the price

HIGH flying Irby entertained promotion rivals Sale on Saturday.

Sale won the toss and asked Irby to bat first.

Irby were 183 all out in the 50th over – top scorers were Jamie Hurworth 55 and Mike Newman 38.

In response Sale were 145 all out in the 45th over, all Irby’s bowlers taking wickets with Dave Collyer leading the way with 4.

Irby travel to Hale Barnes next Saturday.
