Brighton shocked by Bootle comeback

BUSINESS Assistance Liverpool Competition Premier League champions Firwood Bootle recovered from 122-7 to 192-9 declared (49.3) at New Brighton.

In the ECB Premier Division of The Right Move Abroad Cheshire County League, Neston gave a much-improved performance to beat Hyde by 88 runs at Parkgate, after posting 169-7 declared (Stan Clifford 57 not out, Jack Smith 32, Andy Roberts 31). Hyde were sent back for 81 by Chris Finegan (4-21) and new man Lee Dixon from Upton, with 3-31.
