Birkenhead Gymnastics Academy have recently won a clutch of medals

AT the Regional Acrobats and Tumblers Preliminary qualifications last weekend, at Liverpool Park Road, Birkenhead Gymnastics Academy members brought back a medal haul of eight Gold, 13 Silver and 17 Bronze medals.

The eight gold medal winners will now go forward to represent the region at the National finals to be held in Fenton Manor Stoke, in May.

Pictured are the successful trio of Megan Compton, Caitlin Heffernan and Sarah James-Parr. The other gymnasts on their way to Stoke are: Sophie Everson, Anna Hogarth, Jamie Reecejones, and Zoe Laufer. Sarah James Parr also qualified in tumbling.
