Neston ready to make a racquet for honours

NESTON Cricket Club's Racquetball squad is ready for the new season.

Captain Denis Davies has bolstered the squad with a number of new players during the summer.

The squad plays in the Merseyside league which also includes teams from the Village Hotel, Bromborough.

Matches take place on Tuesday evenings.

Denis said: "We've got a growing racquetball section at Neston with around 30 players now playing either competitively or for fun.

"We're excited about the start of the new season and hope to be challenging for honours next April."
