Wallasey Gymnastic Club awarded British Gymnastics GymMark status at Northwest Gymnastics Annual Awards Night

WALLASEY Gymnastic Club are celebrating after being presented with the British Gymnastics GymMark status at the Northwest Gymnastics Annual Awards Night.

Both the club and their gymnasts were also nominated for seven awards, winning certificates in five categories at the event in Manchester.

Wallasey have invested many resources in the training and enhancement of their 23 coaches, 13 judges and club management since the club’s inception 18 months ago, as well as moving into their own venue in August 2007.

Gymnasts have benefited from the strong and growing coaching team by winning a total of 118 medals in competition during the past 12 months. They have also won the largest number of medals for tumbling in the North West, while some of their gymnast have been crowned champions at the highest level of British Gymnastics NDP Finals.
