A WIRRAL based taekwondo club returned from a national event with a hoard of medals.
The Olympic Taekwondo Centre bagged seven medals in a total at the 2008 British National Taekwondo Championships, including a second consecutive gold for one young student.
The medal haul also included two silvers and four bronze.
Ryan Hennessey, 15, secured back to back golds when he triumphed in the Junior Male 73kg category, equalling his 2007 win.
Jessica O’Hanlon and Sean Doyle won silver medals in the Senior 51kg and Junior 55kg disciplines respectively. Four club members, Chloe Herbert (Junior), Aleisha Edwards (Junior), Jake Lilliot (cadet) and eight-year-old (Child) won bronze.
