Warriors fight to third win

GUSTY winds plus a mix of rain and sunshine made for exciting conditions during the RYA’s Team15 (T15) inter-club series at Congleton.

West Kirby Warrior’s asserted themselves in the 5.5m and 6.8 m classes, with Oliver Bradley Baker and Sam Coldham taking a one- two in the 5.5m class, while in the 6.8meters Charlie Lloyd took five race wins.

West Kirby Warriors racked up the points for their third event win on the trot to secure the series with an event to go.

The final inter-club of the season will be at Manley in September, while West Kirby Warriors can look forward to representing the West Zone at the T15 Champions Cup in October.
