Wallasey strike gold

WALLASEY Gymnastics Club are celebrating after scooping a haul of medals at the Inter Regional Competition.

Representing the North West against Yorkshire, Wallasey achieved an impressive total of 10 medals in tumbling and four in acrobatic gymnastics routines.

Wallasey’s 10 tumblers set a great standard by winning five gold, silver and four bronze medals at the tournament on Saturday, June 7.

The following day, the gymnasts performed their acrobatic floor routines to a similar high standard – yielding yet more medals.
