Danielle strikes gold again

DANIELLE Lowe once again swept past the competition at a swim meet in Manchester.

The latest triumph by the Bebington teenager at the Manchester Open means that she will now compete in seven races at the National Age Group Championships in July in Sheffield.

Also in the Manchester Aquatic Centre event, Danielle was presented with a gold medal and cash prize for winning the overall 13-year-old girls BAGCAT competition.

Personal bests were achieved by the Wirral Grammar School for Girls pupil in the 50m breaststroke, 100m freestyle, 200m individual medley, 100m butterfly, 50m butterfly, 400m individual medley and 200m breaststroke.

But it was Danielle’s time of 2.28.54 in the 200m butterfly that saw her claim her seventh National Qualifying time of season.
