WITH additional friendlies arranged against Colwyn Bay and Formby, Vauxhall Motors have now completed their plans for their pre-season programme.

With the players returning for training this weekend, the Motormen’s full pre-season schedule starts on Saturday, July 14, away to Colwyn Bay.

Two days later, they play host to the first of three Football League outfits, when Macclesfield Town come to Rivacre Park for a game that starts at 7.30pm.

On Saturday, July 21, Carl Macauley’s men entertain locals Chester City and three days later, they make the short trip to Formby, with a 7.45pm start.

On the last Saturday of July, Motors travel over to Yorkshire to face old foes Bradford Park Avenue, before rounding off their pre-season at home to Tranmere Rovers on Saturday, August 4.

With the new and exciting-looking Blue Square Conference North opening the following weekend, it is anticipated that the new season’s fixtures will be available in the next few days.
