CAMMELL Laird recorded their 12th victory in a row to keep up the pressure on leaders Buxton for the solitary automatic promotion place in the UniBond League First Division.
Lairds took the lead in the first half with a fine goal from Jamie McGuire, who was eager to add to his two goals from midweek.
The Railway keeper made a fine save from the initial shot, but McGuire was on hand for the rebound to smash it into the back of the net.
Lairds’ lead was doubled soon after with an effort from Ronnie Morgan. His jinking run round three defenders was finished in style as he slotted the ball home.
Lairds’ free-flowing football threatened to provide a real pounding for Harrogate.
A third goal, though, was provided by Chris Nezianya after some good one-two play between Eddie Jebb and Carl Clampitt.
Joe Gibiliru received the ball and unleashed a shot at the keeper, which was hit so hard that it rebounded, only for Nezianya to bang the ball home.
