Motormen need to go on run

VAUXHALL Motors will need to capitalise on a run of four straight home fixtures in the Nationwide Conference North.

The Motormen are in danger of being dragged into a relegation dogfight after a string of away games and only one point to show for their recent efforts.

The only player missing from the squad for Moor Green’s visit to Rivacre Park on Saturday will be striker Lee Furlong, who is suspended for three games following his harsh dismissal at Farsley two weeks ago, against which the club has no right of appeal.

Manager Carl Macauley should otherwise be picking from a full strength squad against the Birmingham side, knowing that his team need to start putting some points back on the board to keep the clubs below them at arms reach.

Moor Green’s visit is followed the weekend after by high-flying Kettering Town, then old adversaries Barrow the following Tuesday (March 6).
