CALDAY GRANGE GRAMMAR has announced that its U14 boys badminton team has qualified for the Finals of the Center Parcs National Schools Badminton Championships in the years 7, 8 & 9 category.
The Center Parcs National Schools Badminton Championships is one of the biggest school badminton tournaments in Europe. Last year over 1,100 middle and secondary schools entered the tournament with over 21,000 children getting on court to take part across 4 rounds of action.
Calday Grange Grammar’s achievement and on court success means that they will head to Center Parcs Sherwood Forest for the Finals Weekend over April 21-22 to compete against eight other schools in their age group category in their bid to become National Champions.
Melissa Handford, young people’s manager for Badminton England said: “Badminton England would like to express our congratulations to Calday Grange Grammar for reaching the finals of the Center Parcs National Schools Badminton Championships.
“It is a highly competitive tournament that draws out talent and entries from schools right across the country.”
