YOUR CHAMPIONS: Tell us about your Wirral heroes

HAVE you nominated your Wirral hero for the News’ Your Champions awards?

We’re searching for the unsung heroes and heroines of our community – and there’s still time to nominate.

Wirral News, with its sister papers in Trinity Mirror Cheshire, has again joined forces with ScottishPower to host Your Champions 2011.

This is your chance to help us highlight the good work of an individual or group which has benefited the community.

This year there is a new category of Champion Volunteer for the individual who has worked quietly for years to help a charity.

Our heroes and heroines will be honoured at a presentation ceremony at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Chester on Friday, November 18, where they will also be in the running for a regional champion of champions award.

Wirral News will select its own category winners, with judges from ScottishPower, and they will then go forward to the regional finals.
