WIRRAL CHEFS SHINE 2010: Garrett Forsey brings the curtain down on another year of competition at Garrett’s in Bebington

Mr Gray said: “I’m not a chocolate person but I liked it. It was all nice.”

Garrett said he “thoroughly enjoyed” the night and was pleased to see a number of new faces in the restaurant.

He said: “Hopefully they’ll come back again.

“I thought the night was very good indeed. Everything went very smoothly

“We put a lot of thought into it and everyone in the kitchen did their job so it was very calm and enjoyable.”

The winner of Wirral Chefs Shine 2010 will be announced at the Wirral Tourism Awards for Excellence next month.

The glittering awards ceremony and dinner takes place at the Floral Pavilion Theatre on November 11.

Garrett said: “I’m really looking forward to the night.

“Do I think I have a chance of winning? We have a one in six chance of winning!”
