Prince Harry will join fellow Walking With The Wounded adventurers at a welcome home press conference today.
Harry was part of a group of injured servicemen and women who spent almost two weeks pulling sleds across the frozen wastes of Antarctica to reach the South Pole.
The adventurers also included Hollywood actor Alexander Skarsgard, star of the hit HBO series True Blood, and English actor Dominic West, from the popular series The Wire.
They faced such extreme weather conditions during their 200-mile odyssey that organisers had to call off the competitive element of the trek .
But working as one unit, the UK team and squads from the US and Commonwealth made it to their Antarctic goal together on December 13.
During the trek Harry, who found time to make an audio blog towards the end of the challenge, grew a ginger beard.
He will take part in the press conference at a central London hotel, attend a short reception and also give a speech.
