Doctor guilty of planning blasts

Iraqi NHS doctor Bilal Abdulla was found guilty at Woolwich Crown Court of conspiring to murder hundreds of people with car bomb attacks on London and Glasgow.

Jordanian NHS neurologist Mohammed Asha was found not guilty of the same offence.

Abdulla, 29, was also found guilty of conspiring to cause explosions with two improvised vehicle bombs left in London's West End and a car driven into Glasgow Airport and set alight.
