Shop for health advice – NHS Wirral sets up stall at Birkenhead Market

SHOP for health advice at Birkenhead Market this month.

NHS Wirral has set up a stall along the market’s fish aisle offering advice on health and wellbeing – from giving up smoking to healthy eating, weight loss and going back to work.

Information will also be available on some of the free services NHS Wirral provides, including Wirral Stop Smoking Service, Wirral Working 4 Health – which helps people on sick leave or claiming benefits get back into work – and the Community Programme, a range of health and wellbeing activities within communities.

The market stall is open during lunchtimes from Monday to Saturday until the end of March.
