Ice-cream parlour to hold free scoop day for Wirral charity

A CHILDREN’S hospice in Wirral is benefiting from an ice cream shop’s sweet generosity.

Chester-based Backford Belles Jersey Ice Cream on the A41 is giving away a free scoop of its ice cream for a small donation to Claire House Children’s Hospice on Friday, March 30.

This is the firm’s 3rd annual Free Scoop Day. The organisation holds one every year for different charity.

Customers are invited for a free scoop between 11am-6pm.
