MAKE a New Year’s resolution to enjoy the riches of what Wirral’s nightlife has to offer.
A happy 2014 is wished to our readers, and a line up of entertainment is planned at venues across Wirral for the year ahead.
This week’s merriment has Liscard’s Soft Rock Cafe promising great live music and a variety of beer on tap.
Amusement on offer includes jam night each Wednesday evening with instruments supplied to show off your talents.
Live music this Friday from Electronics, followed by Revolver performing on Saturday night.
Gary Murphy, the venue’s popular resident musician each Sunday, continues to play from 6pm to 8pm.
Playing at the Revolver on New Chester Road, Birkenhead is 10ft Head Butt on Thursday night along with jam night.
Fireball Friday rock Show returns with DJ Mogsey at the decks in the beer garden pavilion, and DJ Gav playing rock and metal inside.
Drinks promotions on the night has Fireball and Jagermeister shots for £1, Firebombs £2.05, Jagerbomb £2.15, and pints £1.75 between 6pm to 10pm.
Mayhem returns this and every Saturday with £3 entry. Lots of drinks offers including Jagerbombs for £1.75, Stella £1.75, Thatchers Gold £1.75.
The venue is now open seven days a week from 4pm.
A rock-filled calendar of events is at the Swinging Arm pub in Birkenhead starting with jam night on Tuesday nights, then rock ‘n’ roll bingo and free pool available on Wednesdays.
Live music from Skydog will be shaking up the crowds this Friday, which has a 12.30am bar.
This Saturday has 10ft Head Butt, who play for a second time this week, plus 12.30am bar.
Then Sunday has a double line-up with Space Cadets crooning from 4pm to 6pm, followed by a quiz at 8.30pm.
