Tickle your tastebuds with new, seasonal and speciality beers including pumpkin beer, peppercorn beer, organic beer and coffee stout, which will be featured in a 16-day festival.
And with names like Pumpkin Ale, Sgt Pepper, Poltergeist Porter, Sunshine Daydream, Tree Hugger, Wild Cat, and Hazelnut Brownie – it is enough to entice beer connoisseurs across Wirral to the two pubs where it will be held.
The line up includes 10 ales brewed in the USA – sourced from California, Georgia, Massachusetts and Oregon – alongside 35 British beers.
Hosting the festival in Birkenhead are The Brass Balance in Argyle Street and The John Laird in Claughton Road.
The festival will run from Wednesday, October 16 until Thursday, October 31, with all beers priced at £1.89 a pint.
Many of the beers have been brewed exclusively for the festival.
Customers will be able to sample any three of the real ales in special third of a pint glasses for the price of a pint.
Brass Balance manager Joan Hodge said: “We are thrilled to be serving such a fantastic selection of beers from the USA and the UK.
“The craft beers from the USA have never before been available in cask form in the UK, which makes them even more special.
“The festival will be the perfect way for real ale enthusiasts to enjoy a range of excellent beers.’’
