Formerly called The Admiral, the pub was built in the 1880's along the waterfront overlooking the River Mersey.
It has midweek offers such as three-course dinner for £10.95.
Quiz night is every Wednesday from 8.30pm with cash prizes. Live music this Friday features Brickhouse – a 10-piece soul and funk band. And Villa jazz bistro night is on Saturday’s from 7.30pm.

This Friday has indie rock band Mexico 70. Covers duo Press 2 Play, will be playing this Saturday. The best party tunes will be dazzling the dance floor this Sunday with resident DJ.
Soft Rock Cafe in Liscard kicks off with jam night on Wednesdays, live music with Electronica on Friday, and The Foundry on Saturday. Gary Murphy and Rigsby’s Cat will be wooing the crowd on Sunday from 6pm until 11pm.
The Swinging Arm in Birkenhead has a rock-filled schedule.
Tuesday is jam night, and play rock n roll bingo on Wednesdays.
Live music on Thursday with Funkwarts, plus DJ, 12.30am bar.
See The Lowtones on Friday night playing rock classics, and Lazzy Band will rock the stage on Saturday. Both nights also have a DJ and 12.30am bar.
Rogers Floyd, a Pink Floyd tribute act, will be playing this Sunday.
Revolver in Birkenhead has 10ft Head Butt on Thursday, with jam night, plus bar offers. Join the onesie fancy dress party for Fireball Friday with AMFX Redemption, and metal rock DJ.
The bar will be closed this Saturday for renovation.
