A GROUP of mums in Wirral have raised nearly £4,000 for the MS Society.
Hoylake group called Yummy Mummies only formed six months ago, and led by friends Kat Garner and Kirsty Brady they organised a charity cake bake at St Luke's Church in Hoylake.
Together with a raffle, games, football shirt auction and craft stalls they managed to beat their target of £500 and raised £3,682, with more money rolling in.
Kirsty said: “We are still completely in shock!
“Thank you to all our yummy mummy friends and all those that helped on the day.
“Kat and I really appreciate everyone’s time and effort.
“I feel so proud of us all, and thank you for everyone’s generosity.”
