A CLAIRE House fundraiser is continuing her support of the hospice by holding a family fun day, just before the kids go back to school.
Mum-of-three Rachel Griffiths, from Bromborough, is holding the event on Friday, August 30, at Wirral Rugby Club. For an entry fee of just £9 per child, children can enjoy an all-inclusive day of bouncy castles, face painting, assault courses, arts and crafts as well as lunch, and drinks and snacks throughout the day. All proceeds from the day support Claire House Children’s Hospice.
Rachel said: “I know how hard it is to keep the kids occupied during the summer holidays, so I wanted to put on a great value day out that will not only make sure they have fun, but raise money for a cause close to many people’s hearts.”
This isn’t the first time Rachel has raised money for the hospice; in April she completed her first London Marathon to raise funds and the keen runner also has plans for a sponsored walk.
Mark Pearson, event fundraiser for Claire House, said: “It’s brilliant when events for children raise money and awareness for other children, like those who use Claire House. Thanks so much to Rachel for, yet again, doing something amazing to support her local children’s hospice.”
Rachel’s Family Fun Day for Claire House Children’s Hospice takes place from 11am until 4pm on Friday, August 30, at Wirral Rugby Club. Tickets are £9 per child and include all activities and refreshments.
Adults and children under two enter for free.
