A MUM from Wirral is fulfilling her passion for fiction by writing novels on romance and murder.
Bev Dulson from Wallasey loves nothing more than staring at a blank page then letting her imagination run wild.
She has written three books, with her first released in 2010.
Bev, a mum-of-two, said: “I’ve been writing since I can remember. I used to write in my diary religiously every night and was always jotting down story ideas.
“My first book, Betrayal, is a murder mystery set in New York with lots of very beautiful characters.
“My second book, Love Overboard, is a bit more light-hearted – fun, cheesy, and doesn't take itself too seriously.
“It is set between the Caribbean and Wirral, and features Liverpool and Chester too.
“I got the idea from two weeks on a Caribbean cruise ship as part of a working holiday.
“I fell in love with the ship and this set the scene about a love triangle which involved a travel agent stuck between a sexy sailor and a rugged rugby player.
“My third book, Twisted Sister, follows on from Betrayal and is set between New York and LA. This was released in June.
“I love researching exotic places and writing about perfect people with not so perfect lives.
“If my books makes people smile, then it's job done.”
Now the successful writer is putting the final touches to her fourth book called Famous and Shameless.
It is set between Liverpool and New York in the mid 90's, about a girl who becomes a famous rock musician.
Bev added: “A dead body is discovered in her mansion and she turns to her first love who she hasn't seen since the 90's.
“I love writing, and I admire Jackie Collins – she has tweeted me a few times.
“I love starting with a blank piece of paper and not knowing where the story will end up.”
