A MAN was taken to hospital with head injuries after an attack outside a train station in Wirral.
Emergency services were called to Rock Ferry station, in Bedford Road, Rock Ferry, at around 3.10pm on Friay after reports a man was injured.
The 22-year-old was taken to hospital with a head injury which was not thought to be life-threatening.
Police believe two men left the scene in a BMW 3 Series car after the attack.
Detectives are investigating the full circumstances of the incident.
CCTV from the area is being examined and witnesses are being spoken to.
A forensic examination was carried out at the scene.
