Man’s body found near Raby

A MAN’S body was found hanging from a tree close to a busy main road in Wirral.

Merseyside Police were called to Raby Mere Road, near Raby, at about 7.15am yesterday (Tuesday) morning after a passing motorist reported seeing the body.

Paramedics attended and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police were still trying to confirm the identity of the man and notify his family as the Wirral News went to press.
