Coin-operated self-service dog wash opens at Hoylake dog grooming salon

HOYLAKE has become home to Wirral’s first 24-hour self-service dog wash.

The coin-operated unit has been installed outside Trendy Pooches dog grooming salon in Market Street, Hoylake.

The trend started in the USA and salon owner Glynis Stewart bought her dog wash from Germany.

She said it was already proving a hit with her canine clientele.

She said: “It’s here for anyone to wash their dog at any time of the day. It’s attracted a lot of attention and people have been taking photos of it.”
