Meeting to discuss Portas cash
A PUBLIC meeting is taking place this Friday on an application for Hoylake to become one of TV presenter Mary Portas’s “town teams”.
The meeting, chaired by Wirral West MP Esther McVey, will start at 7.30pm at Hoylake Presbyterian Church on Alderley Road. All are invited to attend.
The star of Mary Queen Of Shops is looking for 12 town centres to take part in a special pilot programme.
Each will take a share of £1.2m of Government funding.
