HESWALL quilters put their skills to the test by creating a bespoke bedspread for charity.
A team of 24 from the Heswall Patchwork and Quilters Group spent nine months hand sewing the flowered appliqué quilt.
It was sold through a raffle, raising £1,500 for the Neston branch the North West Cancer Research Fund.
Group founder Ann Spargo said: “We are really pleased that the quilt has raised valuable funds and has gone to a good home.
“It was worth all the effort.”
