A SCHOOLGIRL who saved her pregnant mum’s life when she fell into a diabetic coma has been nominated for our Your Champions awards.
Merseyside Police awarded Prenton Primary pupil Abigail Snowden a special commendation after her quick-thinking actions last December.
The nine-year-old rang 999 after finding her mum Carla Livesey, who was three months pregnant, lying on the kitchen floor.
The situation was even more dangerous because a pan of boiling oil was on the stove.
