Police appeal after “large amount” of gold jewellery is stolen in Heswall house burglary

DETECTIVES are investigating the theft of a large amount of gold jewellery from a house in Gayton Road, Heswall on October 18 while the owners were out for the afternoon.

A large amount of Asian gold jewellery along with watches, earrings, rings, bracelets and necklaces were stolen in the burglary.

Merseyside Police is appealing for witnesses – and has warned members of the public that if they are offered the items to buy they would be handling stolen goods – a criminal offence.
